The BS in Behavioral and Health Services covers the major theories and concepts in behavioral health and enables students to apply various intervention approaches used in the delivery of behavioral and health services. Behavioral health policies, legal and ethical matters, social justice concerns, delivery systems, service settings, target populations, and service approaches also are covered. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in behavioral and mental health settings and for graduate programs, such as Jefferson’s MS in Community and Trauma Counseling and the MS in Couple and Family Therapy.
