Program Description
The MS in Medical Laboratory Leadership is designed for aspiring laboratory professionals looking for technical laboratory and leadership skills.
Prospective students must have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Chemistry or other sciences with a minimum of 30 credits in biology/chemistry and currently work in a clinical laboratory OR have a BS in MLS or Cytology/Cytotechnology.

Curriculum: 2 years, 30-31 credits, part-time
The degree plan is personalized and flexible for the student’s target career. For conferral of the MS degree in Medical Laboratory Leadership, a minimum 30 credits is required. Electives will be determined through consultation between the advisor and the student.

LDSP courses run for 8 weeks, asynchronous online whereas all other courses run for 16 weeks, asynchronous online.
1 To meet entry-level requirements for immunology credits, students who have not completed three credits in immunology are required to enroll in MLSO 531 Immunology. Students who have completed three credits of immunology may enroll in a program approved elective.
2 If already completed within the previous 5 years either as an undergraduate or graduate course, may take a program approved elective.
