Introduces theories of inorganic chemistry, such as atomic structure, nuclear processes, chemical bonding, kinetic molecular theory, energy and equilibria, gas laws, liquids and solids, oxidation and reduction, solutions, acids and bases, electrolytes, and introduces organic chemistry.  Correlates laboratory and lecture topics.
