HUMX 310:  Globalization & World Politics  
Globalization and World Politics provides an overview of the forces which are shaping global economics and politics. This course will help you understand the roles of international institutions such as the World Trade Organization, the International Monetary Fund, and the United Nation, as well as non-governmental actors like Amnesty International and al Qaeda. Students will also examine the process of economic globalization in order to understand its varying impacts on different world regions. Course content is designed to provide students with an introduction to the major institutions and issues that are currently shaping world politics and the global economy.
